The Motor City Dirty Dawgs were established in the spring of 2024 with the goal of becoming Michigan’s top roller hockey team and growing the sport of roller hockey in the Detroit area.

The Dawgs played their first game in June of 2024 and won that game by a score of 8-5. The Dirty Dawgs would go on to win the summer league championship in their first season as a franchise.

Since then, the Dawgs have built a reputation for being skilled and tough to play against.
